How does mail move through the system?

Once your mail is scanned into the Freedom Mailbox® platform, your mail will be available in your Inbox and begin its life cycle in your account. From here you are notified and can then view and request actions on your mail. Once you have selected an action on a given mail item, for instance to have it forwarded to another address, the mail item will automatically fall into the Pending folder. It will remain in Pending until Freedom Mailbox® staff has completed your requested action. Upon completion it will be moved to the Completed folder.

At any time in your mail's life cycle you can move a mail item into the Archive or Trash folder. This is simply for your own organization and does not trigger any actions with Freedom Mailbox®. Mail items in the Archive folder will never be deleted. The Trash folder will be emptied of items older than 30 days.
